Rev. Al Sharpton, Rep. Maxine Waters, and Michael Baisden lead a rally for justice for the Jena Six. There is unequal justice in the small Louisiana town where six young black students are charged 20 years in prison for a high school fight. Keep in mind that when one of Mychal Bell's friends (one of the Jena Six still facing trial) had his head cracked open with a beer bottle at an all-white party a few nights before the school fight on Dec. 4th, his assailant received a "simple battery" charge. In Louisiana, simple battery is a misdemeanor. Bell, who was convicted by an all-white jury, faces 20+ years in prison.Theodore Shaw's son has been in prison for the last six months awaiting trial because the District Attorney charged him with attempted murder for a schoolyard fight, and set bail so high that his father can't get him out. Theodore's son (Theo) will probably be the second member of the Jena Six to go on trial later this summer, unless some kind of deal is reached. It's unclear whether or not the DA will lessen Theo's charges, as he did with Mychal Bell who was found guilty last week of 2nd degree aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit same. All told, Theo will most likely be facing 20-80 years in prison. The world is now watching to see what fate befalls these young African Americans.

I got nothing but love for this sista, she had a chart busting album "Miseducation" with hits like "Ex-factor" and "Everything is Everything", it was a clean soulful R&B hit of its time. But now we have to embrace the new Lauryn Hill, if she wants to change that's fine with me, being a artistic genius has a few draw backs here and there. I on the other hand would like to see her as a human being first and understanding that living on this earth with happiness is like building a sand house in the middle of the the ocean, it floats for a little while then it sinks. For years people have always followed there eyes instead of there heart, we follow what society calls perfect and trust worthy features. The image above is a test, which profile would you trust the one on your right or the one on your left? The answer is irrelevant, the point is don't be fooled by your eyes, looks don't define who a person is, all looks does is paint a pretty picture on the outside so that everyone can admire an empty image. Accepting society's approval will always force you to trust your eyes instead of your heart. Some people would stay in abusive relationships just to hold on to that perfect image, the image that society approves. Society's approval is a big "LIE", the perfect image is the biggest lie. But your heart doesn't lie, deep down your heart knows what is right for you and what is wrong for you. The perfect image of society will change from time to time, but your heart will always remain the same.

He was endorsed by ex Mayor Mike Dow who himself is a long time Democrat and was in office for 16 years. Majority of young American don't have a sense of responsibility to force a change in legislation, it is almost as if they fear the government. So rest assure the government is glad that young Americans are not interested in how this country is being ran, they want them to be distracted and concerned about their own personal affairs. Keep in mind Young People, government legislation will eventually effect you personally and as you get older. So wake up, young Americans, take back you government that is of the people, gather not just in thousands but millions I guarantee it will make a difference like it did in the past. The government actually fears great numbers because that says REVOLUTION. That word is an abomination to the government, believe me that's the last thing they want. I believe the youth will one day answer their call again and take back their government.

A time bomb waiting to explode, within the young black man reaching his early thirties. Images flying through his head are negative about himself, they are perpetuated by any form of media that can enter into his mind. Like a computer he processes this information and becomes enraged at the thought of not being perceived as intelligent, romantic, dependable, or anything related to something positive. The shocking revelation that really paralyzes the black man is he begins to believe those perceptions toward his fellow brother, and becomes even more enraged feeling a sense of self betrayal in doing so. With rage at its boiling point he begins to find vents, something to help release this off the scale rage which is damaging his health and sense of focus or direction. Violent thoughts on a subconscious level helps release bits of rage, unproductive activity unfortunately releases quite a bit of rage because its origin is fueled by negativity. One of the biggest vents of a Black man's Rage is Violent music, any form of music will suffice, why, because meditation is involved, time to channel and process the rage until his behavior becomes rage itself, almost like learning martial arts, moves are process until they become habitual. My theory is any form of meditation can transform your behavior, whether the medium is TV, reading, Music, and etc., you are what your mind process. Crime will continue to grow with the black man unless we promote Education, so they can process learning History, Math, English and all forms of Productive Activity that will produce positive behavior in the black man.

Why do people pretend to be your friend or associate when they secretly despise you for whatever reason, you know who you are, full of shit, yet plays along like everything is cool. One of the biggest traits of fake ass people is their ability to "hide" behind close doors or crowds and throw rocks at you hoping that they will get lost in the confusion. Another trait of a fake ass person is that their too big of a fucking coward to confront you head on and be straight up with you, they hope that by stirring you up secretly you will act on impulse and react stupidly in affect making you look like the bad person or an asshole, thus making you go away in shame. Their is no cure for being a fake ass person especially when the opposite sex is involved then you have motivation for being a fake ass person, that's right "jealousy" one of their biggest and obvious traits that you need to look for. I have already spotted a few "fake ass people" on the Internet, oh yeah you can see them coming a mile away. Best way to handle this nuisance is to ignore them until they get tired of hiding and throwing rocks and reveal themselves for what they really are which is a "SNAKE".

Fear of "Dark Skin"

People hate to talk about this issue, but I feel it is my responsibility to give it a little attention. There is a fear of black men who has darker skin, most whites feel comfortable around lighter skinned black people particularly black men. My theory is darker skinned black men are stereotyped as violent, angry, oversexed, and etc. any negative prejudgements are always attached to a brotha's image. But men always kept the spoils of war (I use as a loose metaphor), that's why there is no fear of dark skinned black women, not saying we are at war but the numbers don't lie the majority work places rather have them around than men its no secret. Perceptions must change about the darker brotha, don't let videos and news reports be the final determining factor of how you see the darker black men, in other words don't judge the book by its cover look at his fruits individually, thus judging the tree by the fruit it bears. What the Fuck!!, these are the same fuckos who we elected to end the policy in Iraq what gives. The people we elected have sold out to the mighty dollar, now the American soldiers are on their own with no one to change policy in Iraq. Over 70% of the soldiers will suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome a little more than that percent will be physically impaired for the rest of their life, and for what?!? So that a few sorry ass men can stick more money in their accounts. Our so-called friends in the media won't tell it like this, they only report the surface, which does no honor to the soldiers who risk their lives for a vain cause.

Respecting your Own!!

I was talking to one of my friends the other day he said he was in line behind a white guy same age mid thirties, he notice the cashier which was a black woman giving absolutely total respect to the white man like he was the owner which is part of her job. But when he step up for service expecting the same service the cashier did a 360 in her attitude she was all but respectful nearly insulting handed him his change with great contempt. He left with great offence cause he notice a difference in how he was treated compared to his white counterpart. My question is was it because he was black or not lite enough, you can debate the scenarios all you want. The real question is how did it get to this point, when our own beautiful black woman don't respect us any more we are despised at some level by our sistas, yet they would give our respect to someone else. This is a small example of how our black people don't communicate and little seeds of offense can cause a bigger wedge within our community. Lets get a grip on our pride, our self respect, don't let minor failed relationships allow you to conclude our race is worthless, we must fight to maintain a open mind toward our black people and toward individuals. Self Love is the key.
